Gouffre Cristal

These improvised musical pieces were recorded live in Brittany by Maxime Mouttet and Benoît Lefeuvre.They soundscape the fictional exploration of a chasm with crystallizing walls, remodeled by erosion through the work of salt and water over time. This natural process has guided their musical approach, mixing field recordings and re-arranged raw sound materials to carve them as a set of unique instruments, sometimes playing as a discordant ensemble, sometimes in symbiosis.
